Kathryn began her acting career with a made-for-television movie "Long Road Home" in 1991.
Morris later acted in multiple made-for-television films such as "Rise and Walk: The Dennis Byrd Story" [1994], "Family Values" [1995], "Inherit the Wind" [1999], "Hell Swarm" [2000], "And Never Let Her Go" [2001] and many other TV movies.
She made her big-screen debut with the movie "Cool as Ice" in 1991.
Kathryn Morris performed different roles in several movies like "Sleepstalker" [1995], "As Good as It Gets" [1997], "Deterrence" [1999], "Minority Report" [2002], "Assassination of a High School President" [2008] and many other films.
In 1996 Kathryn made her small-screen debut with a guest appearance in "Murder, She Wrote" followed by guest roles in television shows "Silk Stalkings" [1996] and "Poltergeist: The Legacy" [1997].
She got her breakthrough role of Lt. Annalisa "Stinger" Lindstrom in the television drama "Pensacola: Wings of Gold" [12 episodes: 1997-1998].
She also performed recurring roles in a number of television sitcoms such as "L.A. Firefighters" [3 episodes: 1996], "Xena: Warrior Princess" [2 episodes: 1998-1999], "The Mind of the Married Man" [2 episodes: 2001] and many other TV shows.
Morris shot to fame with the role of detective Lilly Rush in the long-running Television show "Cold Case" [129 episodes: 2003-2009].
She was raised in the Church of Christ fellowship in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, USA and toured the country along with her 6 other siblings in the family's singing group called Morris Code.
